"Never have I been seen in person"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Endocrinology

(as the patient),

I was diagnosed in Lincoln A&E with an over active thyroid 3 years ago. This affects my heart rate, blood pressure, calcium, vitamin D. I was advised I would be seen by Endocrinology within 24 hours of being at A&E. Never have I been seen in person at the clinic. All appointments since have been telephone call only. I have a large swelling in my neck and this has not been monitored at all.

Dear CaWoo

The team are very sorry to hear this and are keen to investigate, however we would need patient level details therefore please can you contact our PAL team on 01522 707071. There could be a number of reasons why this hasn’t happened and we are keen to ensure it can be looked into fully and responded to appropriately. Thank you.

Thanks

Toni Allen
