I went in recently to get a cystoscopy and urethral dilation and was really looked after. I was glad to get out same day so I could get back to my house and cats and recover in my own bed but wanted to mention that everyone was nice. Also had a good banter after coming to with the theatre staff.
Brenda looked after me with Nicole and they were very busy as nurses always were but still got me out just passed my time that I could leave. There was also a lovely lady who took me to get my operation who made sure to tell the theatre staff, the very thorough and nice anesthetist Irene, to keep my socks on and about my slippers because I suffered raynauds and fibromyalgia/pain amplification syndrome and even got me a pillow for my feet too!
I am sorry I can't remember all names as the lady who mentioned about my need for socks was lovely, reassuring and glad she was also there before I fell asleep. As well as Debbie when I came to and a lovely lady with whom we talked about frozen fruit and veg best to get instead of the fresh stuff and her love of cauliflower cheese! Made to feel like a friend so ty for that as it soothed my anxieties too!
Also would like to say again like my last hospital visit how much I noticed the nurses are so hard worked..still could do with more help for them too and still under paid. All remained professionally throughout! So ty all!!
