"Ambulance men"

About: Northern Ireland Ambulance Service / Emergency ambulance response

(as a service user),

I was quite ill at home approximately 2 weeks ago. When my daughter called she rang the ambulance Immediately. The two ambulance men Tim and Richard arrived quite quickly. They were both excellent. I cannot commend them enough for their professionalism. I was highly anxious and did not want to go to causeway hospital. Both men were excellent, they kept me calm and I accepted that I must go to hospital. They are both exceptional professionals and an absolute example to any students who decide to enter the profession. I think that good ambulance personnel do not always get the credit they deserve, this is why I choose to give my true and honest opinion.

Good afternoon Debs Mac,

Thank you for taking the time to share your valued feedback. We are always grateful to those who share their experiences of the services they have received. It was heartening to learn how excellent and professional Tim and Richard were and how they kept you calm. Feedback such as this lifts the morale of the paramedics involved in what is a particularly challenging period.

I would like to share your feedback with the clinicians who attended to you on the day and in order to locate them I would require the following information:

o Date and approximate time of the incident

o The address the ambulance was dispatched to

If you are happy to share this information, I can be contacted at:

Maggie.hamilton@nias.hscni.net

Kind regards,

Maggie
