I was treated early on by the team at the Dermatology ward in Ramone building, Craigavon Area Hospital. Nurse Lauren and Dr McIntyre met me to discuss the extent of the cancer, the operation(s) needed and treatment plans.
From the start they were able to tell me clearly but with great empathy and care about what I could expect from the treatments. Dr. McIntyre carried out the fist excision, and his was done with great skill and left a minimal scar on my temple.
I since hide a wide local excision and skin graft with sentel node biopsy at Ulster Hospital all with the same great care and attention.
I have just had my most recent excision at CAH with Dr McIntyre again , and the process was quick, painless and precise. She made me feel at ease, comfortable and I had all information I needed to hand.
The whole team in Dermatology in Craigavon have been exceptional in their care of me and continue to do so. They have made a difficult journey much easier with the way they talked me through everything, and it was obvious they cared about me through the process.
Please can you make sure they are aware of this feedback, I am and will always be grateful to D McIntyre, Lauren and the team there.
