I recently attended A&E at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy. I had excruciating pain in my right heel which was similar to pain I suffered with a stress fracture earlier in the year in my left heel.
The department was absolutely mobbed but the care I received from Dr Helen went above and beyond. She listened to me, and read my previous extensive notes, referred me to xray, and promptly put me in a moonboot on my return.
My fractures don't always show up on the initial xrays due to my bone condition.
Jo the radiographer was also very professional and welcoming.
Both are assets to the VHK!
