"Their care and compassion was outstanding"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Acute assessment unit Forth Valley Royal Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

I have just been discharged from a weeks stay in hospital, divided between AAU and then up to ward A12.

I am writing to commend all the staff I came into contact with for their care and compassion. In the two busy units, the care was outstanding and I was made to feel like I mattered. The Nursing Staff were friendly and professional and I never seemed to wait for medications, fluids or observations. The medical staff kept me informed and my consultant could not have been better. The ward staff helped keep my spirits up with friendly chats - The support workers, housekeepers, domestics and phlebotomists.

I arrived on a Friday unwell, and left the following Friday very very grateful.

In the Acute Assement Unit I would like to make a special mention to Staff Nurses Leigh on days and Alana on nights. They went above and beyond to reassure me and were exceptionally kind to my daughter. All the other staff were lovey as well.

In A12 I was looked after by Clara, Nadine, Jess and Molly and again their care and compassion was outstanding. Thank you to everyone else I haven't mentioned as well.

Dear Reassuredpatient

Thanks you so much for taking the time to share the positive experience you had when you were referred to our acute assessment unit. I am pleased that you felt reassured with the care you and your daughter received. This means so much during these really busy and challenging times we are experiencing.

I will be sure to share your feedback to the team especially Alana and Leigh

Hope you are on the mend and recovering well

best wishes
