About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Ophthalmology

(as a service user),

Excellent experience - waited 5 mins only for appointment, both nurses were friendly and explained clearly the procedure for the future operation and after care.

All completed in 3/4 hours.

The only complaint is having to travel a 60 mile round trop for the appointment when closest Cornwall hospital is only 7 miles!

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback for the Eye Unit.

I am so pleased to hear that you had an excellent experience here in the Eye Unit and found staff to be friendly and gave good explanations:)

Different clinics require different tests/scans etc, so sometimes they are only held in the hospitals with that particular equipment is however I understand your frustration regarding such a long journey to the appointment.
