"Made a nervous child feel very relaxed and safe"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Ophthalmology

(as a relative),

We were at clinic 5 in Glasgow’s children’s hospital getting eye checks in ophthalmology. All the staff were so friendly and kind.

In particular, Richard the optometrist was so engaging , professional and made a nervous child feel very relaxed and safe - so thank you!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about the Ophthalmology Clinic. I am glad that all the staff were friendly and kind, especially Richard. The staff know that children (and parents) can be nervous and do their best to provide reassurance and put them at ease. I will ensure that the staff are aware of your feedback.
