What a brilliant service the RCDS is at Victoria Hospital.  When I was given a referral by my GP to have tests done I was expecting to wait weeks and weeks but I was amazed that I got a telephone call from the RCDS team within days.  Mike from the team got in touch with me and organised various tests which were all carried out swiftly and by staff who showed excellent people skills throughout the process.  I had a full body scan, mammogram, CT scan plus blood tests. Each and everyone of these tests was carried out with care and attention.  The NHS can receive bad press but my journey via the RCDS unit was brilliant.  Additionally everything was explained in detail so my mind was put at rest. My tests were all clear and the speed of results was a great relief to me.
