A massive thank you to the staff in crosshouse day surgery. 

I was in recently with gyn and to say I was a nervous wreck was an understatement, after a cancelled surgery before, I was first on the list this time.. the staff were amazing, to the nurse that held my hand while in the anaesthetic room and wiped my tears, the nurse who made me laugh and told me to dream of Bali and the caring staff in recovery thank you so much.  

Dr Beatty and her team thank you for actually getting me some answers it has been a long time of pain and hopefully now I can get some relief. She is a wonderful caring Dr and was so glad to be under her care.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to share this lovely feedback about the care provided within the Day Surgery Unit, University Hospital Crosshouse.

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had a cancelled surgery previously, but glad to hear that it was rescheduled and that you were first on the list that day. I know it can be an anxious and worrying time waiting for ‘your turn’ and it’s often the small things that can make such a difference, such as a kind word or a hand to hold when the nerves kick in.

I am glad that you received such kind, professional and compassionate care from our staff and that they were able to put you at ease whilst you were under their care.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients and it will be my pleasure to share your kind comments with the wider Team in the Unit and also with Dr Beatty and her team. I know they will be delighted to receive this feedback and it will be really encouraging for them to know that you felt so well supported by them.
