"Future's Positive Employment Specialist"

I was referred to the Employment Specialist Raveena by the Mental Health Practitioner Amy, from the Future's Positive Team and the Newark and Sherwood Mental Health Team.

From the start and throughout our meetings, Raveena was extremely welcoming, friendly and very helpful, not only through her supportive attitude but by also covering such topics as worker's rights, disabled person's rights, trade union matters and employment law. This was all very effective help for my recent phased return to work, as many of the topics covered by Raveena were put in place during my return-to-work meeting, with my FLM being made aware of the adjustments needed to positively benefit this return.

I'm very confident that the help and support Raveena offered me will benefit me in the future, as my phased return progresses to more full time work once again.

I wish to state that my whole experience of the Newark and Sherwood Mental Health and Future's Positive teams, from Social Prescriber Sarah, Mental Health Practitioner Amy and finally Employment Specialist Raveena, to be without fault. At every meeting, I was made to feel very comfortable and was never rushed in any way, all e-mail contact was very helpful and informative, and I never felt as though I was intruding on their time. This all resulted in a very beneficial and positive experience; one that will continue to be of great help in the future.
