"First class service from a first class team of people."

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Cataract Unit

(as the patient),

I visited Queen Margaret Hospital recently to have my operation.

I cannot praise the cataract team staff highly enough from check in desk staff to the surgeon involved. Despite the pressure they must be under with a backlog of patients, they were attentive, kind and supportive throughout my visit. Great care was taken to set me at ease and to explain exactly what was happening and what to expect.

All went exactly as described and the change to my vision today cannot be overestimated. First class service from a first class team of people.

Dear bill1958,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and the change you have had in your vision since your surgery. It is lovely to hear that you had a first class service from a first class team!

It will be reassuring to other patients that the team put you at ease and explained the process to you and in a way that this reassured you.

We wish you well in your recovery

Stacey Arnott
