"The drop in centre is great"

About: East Kilbride Locality Support Service / Treatment Room

(as a service user),

I was diagnosed with Low Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer in 2020.  I need monthly blood tests to monitor my CA125 level.  I find the drop in service at Hunter Health Centre in East Kilbride great.  I've found Anne to be really gentle and making sure she takes my blood sample means I'm not nervous at all.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback re the bloods and go service at Hunter Health Centre. One of the benefits of the service, is to offer patients easy and quick access to get their bloods taken and it certainly sounds as though this has been the case for you.

Staff in the team welcome feedback and I will pass your comments onto Anne. It makes such a difference when someone makes you feel at ease especially as you need your bloods checked regularly.

Update posted by EllieMouse (a service user)

Knowing Anne is going to take my blood is such a comfort. She has it done in minutes while we're chatting. Yes there's always a chance at holiday times she won't be there but I feel less anxious because that's only happened once.
