"Highly professional, informative, and highly attentive"

My son's surgery took place at the Day Surgery Unit of Wishaw University Hospital during which Mr Bodo, his surgical team and all the nursing staff were fantastic.

From the minute we arrived, until we left again over 9 hours later, the nursing team team were highly professional, informative, and highly attentive. They explained everything to us and kept us up to date throughout the surgery, even if there was no update to give. Their assurance and demeanour made a stressful situation much more manageable.

Likewise with Mr Bodo, surgeons and anaesthetists, who sat with us before and after surgery, ensuring we were fully informed of what would take place and potential outcomes. Since the surgery we have had a number of outpatient appointments scheduled, the purpose of which were fully explained and gave my son milestones to target in his recovery.
