About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Urology Yeovil District Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a service user),

I am very fortunate in having the care and expertise of the NHS - over a period of 8 weeks I had a bladder infection which worsened to the extent that I was unable to pass urine.

From A&E (Yeovil) where my condition was such that it took the ingenuity of a consultant (Mark at Musgrove Park) to introduce a catheter into the bladder to alleviate my distress.

I spent a week in Yeovil and Musgrove Park hospitals being treated and I was in total admiration of the care and friendliness/approachability of all the staff members in all of the departments I visited.

Following a subsequent cystoscopy at Bridgewater with Bobbie and Nisha from Urology, I am at last hopeful that my future will be less stressful with the ongoing medication, so thank you all so much for your care and advice.
