"I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently she was attended to"

(as a relative),

My sister recently had to go to A&E. She is total nursing care and I was dreading the long wait in a corridor before getting her into a cubicle. However, she was put into a cubicle in the older part of A&E every quickly. It was much less noisy here than the newer part. She was attended by excellent nursing staff who done everything they could for her. The team of doctors attended her, done bloods and x-ray all pretty fast and Dr came back to tell results. I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently she was attended to and diagnosed. Staff in A&E were so lovely and I really appreciated all they done for my sister. They also communicated very well, got fluid up, changed dressings and explained what was going on. Just want to say big thanks for all your help.

Hi Sunshine13,

I am so pleased to read of your sister's positive experience in our department, our team within ED work so hard every day to care for each and every patient, in what is often a very challenging environment, and it is lovely to receive recognition of this. I was especially pleased that all members of the team seem to have communicated well with yourself and your sister with regard to her care, so that you were kept up-to-date, this is what we strive to do with all our patients. I have shared your feedback with our team, responses like this sometimes do so much to improve their morale. Thank-you again for taking the time to post this response, I hope your sister is recovering from her illness.
