"Great service"

About: NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde / Quit your Way

(as a service user),

Can't believe I've stopped smoking for over 3 months now.  My advisor Louise phoned me every week to see how I was getting on she even sorted out a problem I had at my chemist really quickly and I looked forward to her checking on me. She listened to me and helped me. When I had a blip at the start, she encouraged me to put it behind me and keep going normally I would have given up but she was so supportive. My asthma has improved I'm not using my inhalers as much and I have more money for other stuff. Thank you for your help and support. Great service.

Dear 'Bankie67',

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us your feedback on NHSGGC's Quit Your Way Community Service. It is lovely to hear about your stop smoking journey, very well done! It must have taken lots of willpower from you, as well as all the helpful support from your advisor Louise.

As the team's manager, I will certainly feed back your comments to Louise and let her manager know what a good job she is doing. I'm sure Louise will be delighted that she has played a part in your quit attempt and will be happy to hear that you are now seeing the benefit of all your hard work - improved asthma symptoms and more money in your pocket.

Best wishes, Lisa
