I anxiously attended a pre-op assessment at University Hospital Ayr. I was asked in to see Debbie, very promptly, and her warm and kind interaction helped me to relax immediately.
I found the process very thorough and I felt encouraged and empowered to ask any questions. I had the time to exchange information meaningfully and Debbie clearly saw me as a whole person, ensuring each aspect of my history was satisfactory and up to date.
I also very much appreciated that the ECG department took me through to another room to help with my appointment timings, despite their department being under pressure. Whilst I don't know the individuals name who saw me at this stage of assessment, she was equally kind, compassionate and sensitive, just like Debbie.
Thank you so much for a positive experience!
