"The service that has been provided has been crucial"

My son developed separation anxiety from myself at a young age. He had to be near me at all times.

My MH was very bad at the time due PND and other MH issues. His sleep was also very erratic and this also didn't help me or him.

I started to work with Lucy. She came to our house and worked with my son.

She used techniques and play to show my son that it was ok to be apart from me. She made him feel safe and helped to grow his confidence.

She didn't just help him she also helped me. She gave me information and techniques to use when she wasn't with us, was a shoulder when I needed it and also a voice when I didn't feel I had one.

She has been a saving grace to me and my son. Thanks to her my son has grown in confidence and has made great progress and also with her help I have progressed too and my MH is getting better. 

This service that is provided has been crucial and I am so thankful that we have her.

I couldn't imagine what life would be like if we didn't have access to this and I was very emotional to  find out that it might be ending.

I feel like this is a travesty! Many more families and children could benefit as much as we have!
