"Clinicians are good, administration beyond awful"

Literally hours of my life have been spent phoning different departments, on hold, with calls being cut off, desperately trying to find out why my son has not been given the appointments and scans I was told he needed. Emails asking for help have been ignored. I have been passed from paediatrics to other Departments and back again. Internal systems don’t talk to each other and when we did last suceed in getting an appointment paediatrics was so rammed we spent two hours sitting on the floor in what can only be described as third world conditions. My family has multiple complex conditions and Kings is the very worst hospital we have to deal with - it doesn’t need to be this difficult, stressful and unpleasant.
