"So attentive and caring "

About: Leeds General Infirmary

We came in with my 5 year old daughter to receive a diagnostic endoscopy. Obviously due to her age especially, she was so nervous and really scared about what was going to happen while in hospital as it was all new for her. The staff on the l49 ward were just amazing, so caring and attentive and really looked after her. The anaesthetist was brilliant and made her feel so comforted, and all the nurses etc who looked after us were just second to none. Thank you so much for looking after my little girl so well and easing her fears, you were all amazing and I honestly can’t thank you enough. Keep doing what you’re doing, you help make a very scary time for children so much better.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write to us.

Please accept my sincerest thanks for your kind words.

I am delighted to read that we were able to help your daughter and I hope she is now doing well and has recovered.

I have taken the liberty of sharing your words of support and encouragement with the matron for L49 to share with the team. I know they will all be exceptionally pleased to know they delivered care that met all your expectations.

Once again, thank you so much for taking the time to write to us.

With kindest regards
