About: Antrim Area Hospital / Day Surgery Unit

(as a service user),

I attended Antrim Area Hospital for Day surgery on my oesophagus under Dr Kelly. The treatment was very good. They were very reassuring, put me at ease, and let me know what to expect. I want to say thank you to the staff.

Hi Inspirerm63,

My name is Annette Shaw and I am the manager of the Day surgery unit,

Thank you for your kind words and I am so pleased that the staff made you feel at ease.

It is daunting to have to come in for surgery and the staff are fully aware of this and try to reassure all the patients.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you well in your recovery and I will pass on your message to the staff.
