I attended to have a Hysteroscopy. I was made very welcome by all staff and had a male Consultant. He explained everything to me before I was asked to undress. All through my proceedure the nurses in attendance chatted with me and my Consultant joined in. He explained what he was doing, constantly checking that I was ok and still comfortable. All the staff made me feel relaxed during this somewhat stressful experience. It didn't hurt that much, just a little uncomfortable. I can't understand in this day and age why a woman would decline seeing a male Gynecologist. Surely you would want to see the best person to deal with your problem, whether they be male or female?
My experience was 10/10.
