"She really cared about our family"

About: Children’s Services / HENRY programme

(as a service user),

I was feeling really stressed and at my wits end. I phoned my health visitor and she told me about Henry. An Angel named Emma appeared at my door. The Henry programme has taught me so much, mostly to take more care of myself and to slow down and spend quality time with my children. The weekly goals kept me on track and little tips has changed so much of my family life. Emma was just fantastic, she really cared about our family. I looked forward to her visits every week and will miss her coming! Thank you so much to our angel Emma.

Dear dm798

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us feedback on your experience. I am delighted to hear that being part of the Henry programme has taught you so much. It is so important to spend quality time with your children even more so that you look after yourself.

This programme is there to aid and support the family to bring about positive change and those small weekly goals can allow you to see your progress. I am so glad that you found Emma’s visits beneficial and looked forward to them.

I will share your feedback with the health visiting team, it is so encouraging to hear such positive stories. Thank you again, and I wish you and your family well.

Joyce McKittrick,

Lead Nurse Public Health
