I was admitted to Musgrave Park Hosp for removal of partial knee replacement and a full one put in. From the moment I arrived I was treated with dignity and respect. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the nursing staff. The theatre staff, the anaesthetist and the consultant were all chatty. Kept me calm. And made sure I was comfortable.
After surgery recovery staff were amazing also. The anaesthetist, the doctor, and consultant came round to see how I was. Explaining all they had done. And advising me on pain management.
The physios were amazing also. Had me up walking and doing my exercises. Sending me home with booklet of exercises. The porters were friendly chatty and professional. And of course the catering staff kept me well feed with good food and plenty of tea.
I was nervous going in for surgery because I knew what I was in for. However I had nothing to worry about. Musgrave Park Hospital has always been the same as I have been in numerous times over my life. I would have no hesitation going in again in I need to. One of the best hospitals in Northern Ireland.
