I am disabled and my husband has recently broken his leg. Since you have changed the provision of disabled parking bays at William Harvey Hospital Ashford Kent it is extremely difficult to
1• find a parking space and
2• walk from the car park to the hospital for out patient appointments.
Under the old system if all disabled spaces were taken, you could park elsewhere and display your blue badge. With the new system, long queues are forming in the disabled car park waiting for a space. When we attended for a fracture clinic appointment recently and we luckily got a space but on returning to our car there were at least eight cars blocking the through road whilst waiting for a space to become available. The walk from the top end of the disabled bays to the main entrance is extremely difficult for anyone who would be entitled to a blue badge.
In my opinion this whole system is not working.
