"Commitment in providing high quality care"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Maternity Care (Wards 21-24)

(as a service user),

I would like to thank Dr Malcolm for his commitment in providing high quality care.

I recently had my second baby delivered by section. I was very traumatised after having my first child as my section had previously gone wrong and I was left with permanent nerve damage. The second time around under Dr. Malcolm's care, I felt heard and assured that I was in safe hands with an appropriate plan in place. After having my son at 38 weeks, my nerve damage didn't flare half as bad and my recovery was night and day different from my first experience.

I can't thank you enough, Dr. Malcolm. I can't help feeling that if had you performed my first section then things may then again have been very different. Keep up the amazing work, my son is now thriving after a short stay in neonatal and I'm feeling great too.
