"Outstanding care"

I have recently undergone pre operative assessment, major surgery and post operative recovery at Southmead Hospital, North Bristol NHS Trust.

I would be grateful if you would put on record and pass on my thanks to all the staff who in any way cared for me.

Throughout my entire stay I was treated with courtesy, consideration and the utmost professionalism and importantly my expectations were properly managed.

The skill of the surgical and medical teams was truly exceptional and was supported by the assessment and specialist teams, Stoma nurses and nursing teams at every level.

The domestic staff provided nutritious tasty food whilst the surroundings were kept immaculately clean by the friendly housekeeping staff.

I have not named individuals but collectively you will know who you are: once again on behalf of my family and myself thank you so very much.
