About: Causeway Hospital / Medical Assessment Unit

The nursing care in this unit is superb and significantly better than my family has experienced elsewhere.  The nursing staff have been very kind, considerate and patient with my mum, who has communication difficulties.  She has felt safe and cared for because the staff have been so impressive.  They have also consistently kept me informed, both in person and by phoning me.   I have felt much more confident in the care my mother has received here than I have on admissions in other hospitals.  Thank you Causeway Hospital, MAU.

I am sorry to hear that your mum has been unwell, and am sure it has been a worrying time for you and your family.

With your mum having some communication difficulties, I am sure that it must be quite an ordeal being in an unfamiliar environment.
