"Staff treated her gently and with understanding"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance St John's Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a relative),

Mum, who has late stage Alzheimer's was taken by ambulance from her care home to St John's A and E.

Ambulance crew and all hospital staff treated her gently and with understanding. This helped to keep Mum calm in an unfamiliar place and situation.  Her initial assessment had already taken place when I arrived ... so she was attended to promptly. Regular observations were made. Tests and x-ray were also promptly undertaken.

I would like to thank all involved for the way they looked after Mum.
