"I felt very comfortable"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Radiology

(as the patient),

I have had 2 good experiences, both members of staff carrying out the scans have been lovely and I felt very comfortable. It’s also more convenient for me going to Airdrie for a scan rather than having to go to Wishaw.

However, it’s impossible to get through to them on the phone to try and change your appointment time if needed.

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience during your recent ultrasound appointments at UH Monklands. The sonographers will be delighted to hear your positive feedback and that you felt comfortable during your examination.

I will also speak to the clerical manager around your difficulties getting through to try and reschedule appointments and ask that they assess if any changes can be adopted to make this easier for patients.
