"The staff were very welcoming"

I've been using ketamine for a few years now, I am gaining support from a service called We Are With You. I've been attending their workshops and I asked if there were any options for a detox/ a rehab. 

My key worker got back to me and said my case had been approved for a detox in Dame Carol. I wasn't told the waiting times and unsure of when I could go in. I was given 14 days. 

I waited just less than 4 months, which was short for this kind of thing. 

I was nervous before coming here but knew I needed it. 

The staff were very welcoming and told me about my stay and what would happen. For my detox there was no medicine they could give me to help so this detox was a break from my drug. I was offered, by the doctor, an opportunity to leave a couple of days early so I will have done 11 days total. 

Things that were good: (expanded:)

- Staff available to talk to - this was most useful in my first few days when I wanted to go home. I was able to talk to them and phoned my keyworker also.
