"My quality of care is unmatched"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department

I think you know in yourself when something doesn't feel quite right, although, my inside voice was telling me maybe I'm being paranoid, a little over dramatic and admittedly, a little embarrassed. I was reassured I was in the right place, I was comfortable in my space and had staff check in with me regularly, making sure I had everything I needed and more.

Everybody I encountered had me chatting, smiling and giving me a silver lining, with the added benefit free entertainment. They explained all of the tests and procedures, ensuring I was comfortable with everything and understood the purpose of all the measures.

I felt heard, respected and for being such a stubborn and independent person, I have never felt so cared for in all my life.

Wishaw A&E is full of golden personalities, people who are truly passionate about their job with compassionate, caring souls and unconscious comedians.

I am sorry to read that you were unwell and needed to use the services of the Emergency Department here at University Hospital Wishaw.
