"Why no email option?"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Radiology (X-rays and Scans)

(as a service user),

PET Scan appointment

Received appointment in mail which emphasised in bold that it is vital that I call to confirm appointment. Tried that, no reply. Why no email option so we both know it's confirmed?... Rather than, No idea if/when phone message left has been recorded by the dept🤷‍♂️

Hi disinfectantym48,

Thank you for writing in with a suggestion for improvement which would make it easier for patients to confirm their PET Scan appointments. I'm sorry no-one has responded to your feedback. This may be because it has been tagged for the Radiology team. Although I don't work with the PET Scan team I'd like to make sure your comments have got through to them and wondered if you would mind sharing the number you called to try to confirm your appointment? You can do so either by posting on this thread or by email: kirsten.dickson@nhs.scot or telephone / text: 07885720267

Take care,

Kirsten
