The staff at Wishaw General daycare were amazing. My first ever Op (achilles tendon surgery) and the whole process was seamless (I was nervous). Neil the anaesthetist was so professional and personable (seems like a cool guy) and Zoe was lovely too, she is definitely learning from the right person in Neil. Miss Hayward was very professional and informative too.
All the other staff were excellent too.
Now special mention must go to staff Nurse Fleur, the level of detail and care she took with me was for want of a better word, astonishing. This lady (whom I had never met before in my life) personified what it should mean to be to be a nurse. The NHS should be proud to have staff members like Fleur, she talked me through all the steps for aftercare, gave me all required medicines, and was just generally amazing at her job, whilst remaining professional.
Unfortunately I am unable to provide any constructive feedback, as the daycare unit are smashing it out the park. Possibly feedback for the big bosses, pay these guys more, or at least pay for a night out or just generally reward them with something personal.
I cannot thank the whole team enough. Keep up the great work all, and I really do hope this feedback finds its way back to the team at Wishaw Daycare.
