"Faultless care from the most dedicated people"

About: Royal Bournemouth Hospital / Urology

(as a service user),

Unfortunately in 2022 I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. Mr Turner and his Team at The Derwent have been and still are Extremely Supportive. With Mr Turner's guidance I was able to choose the appropriate treatment for myself.

Due to hospital pressures, I was advised that I would be called on selected dates to inform me if I was going to go to Theatre. 3rd time lucky, greeted by a wonderful team of nursing staff and Theatre Team.

Post-operative care was fantastic and all details for my discharge explained clearly and who to call if I had any problems. I have been admitted to The Royal Bournemouth since on occasions for which I prefer not to document… However, again, faultless care from the most dedicated people - from the cleaners right through to management.

Thank you, we are so lucky to have you….

Well done.
