"What a great bunch of human beings they are"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Neurosurgery (Ward 64 – 66)

(as a service user),

I was admitted to Department of Neurological Services Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Ward 66 and was an inpatient there for 5weeks.

In that time I had emergency surgery and two other surgical interventions. I am recovering well and so grateful to have been cared for by NHS at its best. Consultants, anaesthetists, physiotherapists, phlebotomists, occupational therapist, students and domestic staff all contributed to my treatment care  and recovery, but non more so than the nursing team.

If anyone wants to know what efficient effective kind and compassionate nursing care looks like the team in ward 66 and INR theatres and recovery can show you. What a great bunch of human beings they are.

Thank you to all.
