"Incredible care for my mum"

My mum was recently admitted to W3B with pneumonia. Usually being fit and well this was a huge shock to her and the whole family, with us having a lot of questions and worries surrounding the admission. The team on 3B not only kept my mum and my family up to date as much as they could, but they also went out of their way to ensure she was as informed as possible.

As a HCP myself, it was very humbling to be on the other side of the discussions - usually being the one giving the information to patients and family members. The ward team, however, made me feel very relaxed due to the exceptional care my mum recieved. I can only thank them.
