"The care the staff give is excellent"

I was admitted to Slieve Roe House for 2 weeks through the intermediate care scheme after my discharge from hospital following a fall while out walking.

I previously stayed in Slieve Roe House in 2023, so I wasn't apprehensive about going back, as I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in 2023, so much so that I recommended Slieve Roe House to all my friends.

My room was clean, comfortable and it had everything I needed. The staff were all marvellous, they were all helpful, friendly and provided me with great care during my stay.

At meal times there was always a good variety of food available and the food was delicious. the dining room is bright and spacious and felt very homely. I enjoyed chatting to the other residents during meal times.

I enjoyed the daily activities, especially the chair exercise activity. I was also able to avail of the hairdressing services during my stay which was lovely as it really gave me a lift after I had my hair done.

I would have no hesitation in going back to Slieve Roe House and the care the staff give is excellent.
