"They are worth their weight in gold"

About: Community Midwifery / Armagh Craigavon Area Hospital / Maternity care Maternity care / 2 West Maternity

(as the patient),

Well, what can I say? Unreal, exceptional, I could go on...

My last stay on 2 West let's say yikes but this time was unreal. The midwives ,doctors care assistants were all earth angels, they had time for everyone, treated everyone equally and nothing was a bother to them

Roisin and Jo in induction, the best crack going and knew how to make you at ease. Been my first induction, they helped ease my worries with what was about to happen...and then Alanna, Laura  and Amy in delivery, and of course the fabulous Rebecca that was there for delivery, even though Dr Asrha took over it was still ur baby to deliver 😅 also apologises for how quick it took off when it eventually took off 🤣 She was fab from start to finish, also to Dr Asrha and the other doctor - I didn't get their name - were lovely and very kind and vocal.

Orla, the sister on when baby was born, was fabulous, fabulous team. they are worth their weight in gold.. also to all the midwives I had in 2 West - Julianne, Angela, Hannah, Marie, Abbey - nothing was a problem and my stay was comfortable and they were very attentive to everything and listened to anything I had said..

Also to Dr Sammy, Jo for the aftercare as well...also to Kirsty within the community midwives, also a lovely lady and answers any questions I have just a fabulous experience esp after the one I had the last time, they were all fab, but Rebecca , Orla and Dr Ashra will defo be my forever favourites bringing my little man into th world 🥰

Thank you to all on the team that day, my opinion on 2 West especially has changed massively xx

Congratulations and thank you for your very kind comments as it really lovely to read such a powerful and heart warming response when your first experience wasn't as positive. I am very grateful that you have provided us with the opportunity to demonstrate that every experience is different. As Oonagh has indicated this response will be shared with the staff as it always is good feedback to know when we have provided a good experience, as well as, when we could have made things better so thank you for taking the time as no doubt you are very busy at the minute.

Once again Congratulations and enjoy the new addition to your family.
