"Parkinson's nurse presentation on sleeping problems"

About: Bedfordshire Community Health Services / Parkinson's

(as a carer),

We recently had a talk by the Bedfordshire Parkinson's nurses Hazel and Dominic about sleep problems in Parkinson's.

The talk was thorough and informative for both patients, partners and carers. We came away with a better understanding of sleeping problems and how they may be overcome.

These talks are invaluable and a great source of support and understanding for those affected. It opened up smaller discussions within our group after the presentation and people around us talked openly about their difficulties.

Our Parkinson's family is made all the more stronger with these events, they allow everyone to be heard. The level of understanding and commitment to patients by the Parkinson’s nurses is outstanding.

A truly wonderful community service by a very caring and very patient team. Well done and thank you.
