"Crewkerne Health Centre review"

a very poor response from my surgery this morning. A dr wrote to me requesting that I arrange for a consultation regarding my recent blood tests which showed a significantly high hba1c . I phoned for appointment and was promised a return call. A text came 5x hours later, message read ....Dr (anonymous') says only routine appointment necessary and no 'routine' appointments are currently available until new system put in place at end of April. !?

There was no Drs name nor was there a senders name ? ...completely anonymous text so that it would be impossible to query or follow up... disgraceful !

I have type 2 Diabetes, Secondary Hypothyroidism . large Pituitary tumour, Hypertension, 'significant risk' of a Cardio Vascular event and lots of other chronic conditions . I've paid into the NHS through Paye for 50+ years and this is how you get treated when you are in your 70's and most in need of that Nhs health support. !? ps apparently no capital letters permitted ??
