"I look forward to engaging with the programme"

About: Newham Community Health Services / Cardiac Rehabilitation

(as the patient),

I had a heart attack whilst at work and went to Newham Hospital as an emergency. I was then transferred to Barts for an angiogram.

On discharge I was referred to the cardiac service.  Appointment was given to me to see a nurse who told me I will be seen by a physiotherapist for rehabilitation for my heart event. I was seen by Abi a cardiac physiotherapist recently.

I enjoyed the appointment with Physio,  explained and made sure I understood the goal for my recovery.  Gave me a letter for my company to allow me attend my physical exercise to help quick recovery.  Set up a good care plan.  She was very friendly and accommodating.

I look forward to engaging with the programme,  thanks to her.

Dear Tanvir,

Thank you for the time taken to provide feedback following your appointment with our service

it gladdens my heart to know that you ''look forward to engaging with the programme'' and the agreed care plan set up with you.

Thanks for sharing your story, your positive experience and its great to hear having a letter sent to your employer has made a difference for you by enabling to be able to participate in cardiac rehabilitation with our service.

We look forward to supporting you through your cardiac rehab programme with us and best wishes.
