"Brilliant care from rehab assistant"

About: Neurological Rehabilitation Centre / Community

(as a service user),

I had several sessions with a rehab assistant, who came to my home to help me learn some exercises to help with my walking. Her name is Rothaa and she is based at Neuro Rehab Edgeware hospital. Because of her skill and care I have made huge progress with my walking. She was so kind and so patient and helped me in every way possible.

I feel confident to carry on with the exercise programme every day without her. She was so positive and so encouraging, I could not have asked for a better teacher. I will remember her forever.

In our last session, I was able to walk her to the door without any sticks at all. Those few steps unaided was the colossal measure of the progress she brought about.

@RD Thank you for writing about the treatment you received from Rothaa and the support from the community team based at The neuro rehab centre at Edgware. Its great news to hear that you were able to walk without your sticks (to the front door) and you have been supported to do your exercises. We hope that you continue to progress in your recovery.
