"I can't thank them enough"

I had an accident with the boot of my car that took my middle finger off below my nail.

I was in total shock. Got my finger stitched back on at A&E at FVRH .The doctors didn't think it could be saved. I started to attend the Orthopaedic clinic at the hospital 2 days a week for 12 weeks they couldn't do enough for me. They tried everything they possibly could persevered with it week in and week out till I started to get infections in it .The doctor eventually had to take the tip of it off then persevered with it till a new skin and nail started to grow again.

For someone that really should have lost a good bit off their finger I am delighted with the result. Can't thank the members off the team in orthopaedics for believing that they would get it back to looking OK again .
