"The staff couldn't be more compassionate"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Gynaecology (Ward 49)

(as a service user),

I went into the QEUH on Friday to have a full hysterectomy. The operation was successful and the staff couldn't be more compassionate to me. I received thorough care all weekend in ward 49 and could not admire the staff more for the thorough job they do. Responding to every request, training their students and still smiling n laughing at the end of a 12 hour shift. They made me so comfortable after such a traumatic operation. Such angels

Dear Lesley827,

Thank you for your care opinion response.I will pass on your comments about the compassionate care from the staff. It is always nice to have positive feedback from the patients undergoing major surgery and the staff always appreciate this.I hope you continue to recover well after your surgery. Thanks again.

Best wishes,

Christine Dunn,

Senior Charge Nurse.

Ward 49,

QEUH.
