"My wife's care"

About: Integrated Community Services Service Delivery Unit / Pershore and Upton Neighbourhood Team

(as a relative),

My wife is in need  of knee replacement, she took a fall because of pain, A&E said to rest knee but could not loan walking frame to us. I contacted our local care team, due to long Bank Holiday nothing could be done until after the holiday. Once they were back working they came to visit with walking frames which allowed  her to walk around home safely. Everything seemed to take a long time to happen but once organised they were very helpful.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of being supported by the Pershore and Upton Neighbourhood Team to provide walking aids for your wife and help her with her recovery and improve her safety walking.
