I was admitted to QEUH for skull base surgery. Dr Okhovat was amazing. He was very friendly and pleasant and put me at ease.
I would also like to mention Dr Okhovat’s secretary Karen. She was amazing whilst I was awaiting surgery and always listened to my worries and anxieties.
I was transferred to 11B post op. I was very apprehensive about being in hospital as I had a previous bad experience in another ward but wow. Every member of staff were lovely. They were approachable and very caring. They would check on me and constantly ask did I need anything or could they do anything for me. From the nurses, to the domestics, to the doctors - they provided top class care and I was very impressed.
It’s restored faith from the previous experience. The small things really made a difference.. such as the domestic during the week who always had a chat with me whilst cleaning the room which really makes a difference as it is a long day! They are worth their weight in gold! Thanks team 11B.
