"An excellent keyworker"

(as a service user),

We have had an excellent keyworker called Andrea (for our son). It was obvious she has very good experience of Autism and learning disability  as well his medical needs. She showed a lot of empathy and understanding about our work load and our decisions in respect to his day to day care. If we had any problems she was always very prompt to contact us . Very sorry to be losing her.

I would like to extend my thanks to this service user / family for the very kind words expressed in this Care Opinion platform in respect to our Nurse Keyworker Andrea, working in the Craigavon and Banbridge Learning Disability Team. Building positive relationships with our service users and their families is paramount to effective outcomes and central to helping people with a Learning Disability to live well in the community. The Community Team / Keyworker will continue to support you in every way they can to support you in your caring role and help ensure your loved one can access services, have healthcare needs addressed and provide advice, information and support as / when required.
