"Nurse was lovely, explained things and calmed me down"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske)

(as a service user),

Had eyes lasered.

First nurse,  Carolina, saw me. I was extremely anxious, terrified actually. She was lovely, calmed me down, explained things and made me laugh.

Had the laser done and she put me at ease as well. Wouldn't be as scared if I needed it done again - hopefully not.

Saw Carolina again to make sure things were ok and she was a reassuring and friendly as the first time. No complaints.

Everyone was friendly but extremely busy.

Well done to them all.

Dear Louise726,

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback for the Eye Unit.

I am so pleased that Carolina made your experience a pleasant one, and even made you laugh when you were so anxious and terrified!

I will pass your kind words back to the team, especially Carolina:)
